Is shipping discreet?

Yes. Your order is shipped in neutral, unbranded packaging with no indication of the contents. This ensures full privacy.  For more information, please see our shipping details.

 

How long does shipping take?

Delivery times depend on your location. Orders are dispatched on Mondays to ensure safe transport of the reagents.

  • Germany & EU: typically 2–4 working days
  • International: may vary depending on customs

 

Do I need anything else to perform the test?

Everything required for the test is included in the box. For sample preparation, you may additionally need common household items:

  • Scissors (to cut a blotter)
  • A pipette/dropper (for liquid handling)

 

What forms of LSD can be tested? 

The LSD QTest works with:

  • Blotter paper
  • Liquid LSD (aqueous or alcoholic solutions)
  • Gel tabs (depending on the type)

Note: Agar-based gel tabs are not suitable, as they require high heat to dissolve, which can damage LSD.

 

How much material do I need for the test?

  • Blotter: use half a blotter 
  • Liquid LSD: use one drop

For liquid samples, gently shake or invert the vial before testing, as LSD may settle at the bottom.

For blotters, the result reflects the amount in the tested half. 

 

How do I calculate the total LSD content of a blotter?

Since only half a blotter is tested:

  • Multiply the result by 2 to estimate the full blotter content
  • If consuming the remaining half, the measured value already reflects that portion (no calculation needed)

 

Can I test gel tabs?

Yes, but only if they dissolve properly. 

  • Gelatine-based gel tabs: Use half a tab, place it in the extraction solution, and gently heat to ~50°C (e.g. in a warm water bath) until fully dissolved. Then proceed with the test.
  • Agar-based gel tabs: Not compatible. Agar requires much higher temperatures to dissolve, which can degrade LSD and lead to inaccurate results.

 

What does “quantitative test” mean? How is the QTest different from classic reagent tests?

Unlike classic reagent tests, which only indicate whether a substance is present, the LSD QTest measures how much LSD-25 is in your sample. You get an actual dosage (in micrograms), not just a yes/no result.

 

Can the LSD QTest detect cutting agents or other substances?

No. The LSD QTest is specifically designed to measure LSD-25 potency. It does not identify contaminants or cutting agents.

 

Does the QTest also work for derivatives such as 1P-LSD, 1cP-LSD, ALD-52 or ETH-LAD?

No. The LSD QTest is calibrated specifically for LSD-25 and does not react to these derivatives. If your sample contains only these substances, no color reaction will occur.

 

What is the shelf life and how should I store the test?

The test has a shelf life of at least 18 months. Store it between 2–20°C and protect it from direct sunlight. For optimal longevity, refrigeration is recommended.

Einfache Anwendung. Ablesbarkeit des Ergebnisses war auch gut möglich. Ich würde ein 4-Augen-Prinzip und gute Beleuchtung empfehlen, um falsche Auswertung durch eventuelle Farbsehschwächen zu minimieren. Perfekt für spontane Tests und wenn man kein DrugChecking Angebot in der Nähe hat, welches auch LSD analysiert.

    The test was accurate and easy to follow, however I think reading the results is very difficult. Perhaps a rig to hold the bottle in front of a white paper would be nice? Personally I would also be down to pay good money for a device that could accurately read the results.

      Regarding your idea: we actually already developed an open-source photometer specifically for this purpose. The device is pre-programmed and validated to directly read and interpret the results of our QTests in a much more objective and precise way than visual evaluation alone.

      The photometer is already available for the LSD QTest and helps reduce interpretation variability caused by lighting conditions, background color, or subjective visual perception. You can have a look in our webshop 🙂

      Your suggestion about a holder with standardized white background and positioning is also very interesting from a usability perspective, and feedback like this genuinely helps us improve future versions and accessories.
